It all started with a girl who grew up spending most of her time with Amamma, learning traditional recipes by heart. Baking these sweets is more than a skill — it's a passion, an interest, and an act of love. P.S. I'm a foodie too 😋. Almost every heart melts for sweets.
Like every NRI who moved to the USA, my story — Siri's story — started the same way. The passion for baking made me dream about turning it into something real.
One day, I met another foodie — SIMBA — who shared the same vision and craziness. Someone who eats biryani every other day 😂 and finishes it off with sweets.
After trying a wide range of sweets throughout the USA, we found that almost none matched the freshness, authenticity, and purity of organic ingredients we grew up with. We both had the same idea of starting a dessert place — and that gave rise to Amamma Jaadi.
Amamma Jaadi — The Begining
Everyone grows up at their grandma's house, at least during the summers. The taste of food that Amamma brings to the table can't be matched — not even by Michelin-star restaurants.

Born from our love for Amamma, this brand kicked off as Amamma Jaadi. Today, there are thousands of happy souls tasting delicious and authentic South Indian sweets.

Which areas do you deliver desi sweets to?+
We deliver across the Dallas–Fort Worth metroplex, including Plano, Frisco, Irving, Denton, McKinney, Allen, Richardson, Garland, The Colony, Little Elm, Coppell, Addison, Farmers Branch, Rockwall, Lewisville, Carrollton, Prosper, Celina, Dallas. We also ship further afield in Texas to Austin, Houston, Waco through our courier partners. Free pickup is available at our partner locations across DFW.
What South Indian sweets do you make?+
We make traditional Andhra and Telugu sweets: Guntur Malpuri, Nellore Malai Khaja, Bobbatlu and Kova. We also make Andhra non-veg pickles — chicken, mutton and prawns — in 12oz glass jars, and gift boxes that combine our sweets.
Are your sweets freshly made?+
Yes. Guntur Malpuri and Nellore Malai Khaja are baked fresh every day. Kova and Bobbatlu are baked to order, so please place those orders at least 2 days in advance. Nothing is mass produced or kept in storage.
Do you cater sweets for weddings, parties and corporate events?+
Yes. We supply sweets in bulk for weddings, engagements, birthdays, baby showers, housewarmings, festivals, temple events and corporate gifting across DFW. Event orders have a 100 piece minimum and need at least 2 days notice. Submit an enquiry on our Events page and we will call you back within 24 hours with pricing.
What ingredients do you use?+
Pure ghee, A2 milk and organic ingredients, using recipes passed down through generations. Our pickles are made with cold-pressed sesame oil and traditional Andhra spices.
How much is delivery?+
Delivery is free on orders of $50 and above. Below $50 a small delivery fee applies, and the exact amount is always shown before you pay. Pickup from our partner locations is always free.
Where can I pick up my order?+
We have partner pickup locations across DFW in Plano, Irving, Frisco and Denton. You choose your location at checkout, and orders can be collected between 6:30 PM and 1:30 AM.
Refund & Cancellation Policy
At Amamma Jaadi, every order is freshly prepared by hand with love and care. Because our sweets and pickles are made-to-order using premium ingredients, we are unable to accept cancellations or issue refunds once an order has been placed.
If there is a quality issue with your order, please contact us within 24 hours of pickup or delivery via WhatsApp at 510-574-5578 and we will do our best to make it right.
